When do you expect to g@t the Merge function going?

Mike, it is not on the list for 4.1. Some@folks have built individual cabinets that incorporate several merged cabinets so we have not had a lot of requests for this. Does anybody else need this function?

I may regret going back this far in the forum but, will this function be implimented if others push it?

This will be a great feature for framed cabinets and I would love to use this in entertainment centers I design.

The merge function is... for example: three wall cabinets above a microwave hood, select all three and merge them together into one, similar to an assembly.

In fact it may be called an assembly for all I'm concerned. This function would merge base, and tall cabinets at the base, and wall cabinets would merge at the top.

I'm sure this will eventually become a huge task to the programmers. But these guys are top notch! They can do it. It was right click> adjust cabinet features> Merge. But they removed it.

It didn't work at the time, not to many people requested it to be finished. I might have been the only one that wanted it, but I sure would like to have it.

I like the idea of being able to create a new cabinet from combinations of cabinets without having to save them as an assembly.

With a cabinet you can resize but not so with an assembly.

This would be more like an assembly. I really would like for it to be more like a single cabinet cut and built as one unit. It is no major thing but a very nice feature for those who build framed cabinets. I build mostly frameless but do need to combine builtins and such.
