This is a project I just finished, natural cherry finish with beaded frame and shaker style doors. Enjoy!

Nice work Wayne. How did you bead the stiles and rails? Milled into the stiles and rails or applied to the opening. If milled, how did you miter the beads? I am working on a way to route the miters with a Woodrat and will eventually post the technique.

Hey Bill,

I beaded the stiles and rails on my shaper. I cut the stiles to except the rails on my table saw and cut the miter on the rails in my chop saw.

I would be interested your method once you come up with it.

My approach is to use a 45 degree chamfer bit in a router to cut the miters and then an up spirl bit to remove the appropriate bead. I have tried your approach and I can't get the quality of the joint the way I want it. I will post a picture once I get around to doing it.

I like the legs, gives more of a furniture look, the finish is great too.
