I have a room layout that with wich I am happy with the lighting and layout. However, when printed it is a little too dark. Hoew can I lighten it up?

I like to save the images as jpegs then open them using the image control (Irfanview) in eCabinets. After opening the image click on image on the menu bar then choose enhance colors.
You can adjust the brightness and contrast here but I have had better luck using the Gamma Correction.
Enter a Gamma Correction value of 1.25 to 1.3 and that usually lightens the picture enough.
Just play with these controls till you get the result you want.
