Update issue with installer

OS= XP SP2

I clicked on the link v5.1 at the sticky in the forum, it downloaded, got the RUN option screen, clicked run and got this.

\"The package could not be opened. Contact the app vendor to verify that this is a valid windows installer patch package.\"

Any ideas?

Oh ya, If I try to updaye through e-cabs it states that I have the most current update, V12.

Did you try to save it to your computer instead of opening it and then run the update?

Yes, I tried downloading it both ways. I also tried updating with in e-cabs. No luck.

Any other ideas?

I also have an issue with the installer. All seems to be going ok and installs fine but when I open Ecab and check on the version type, I still get 5.0 build 12 and that is all that is on the screen. It is very slow as well.

I am getting the installation source is not available also.

Also it says verify that the source exists and you can access it.

Can somebody help a fellow ecabber ?
