Ever had a real cuban coffee, the kind that's so strong it comes in a shot glass? My wifes mother is from cuba and makes the kind you can't by in a coffee shop, I love going to Mami's house.
Doesn't matter I can't tell what my coffee tastes like anyways since i put that flavored creamer in it. That stuff is so good. Instead of saying \"hey pass the flavored cream stuff\" we say \"hey, where's the love\". Its got so that my darling wife wrights on her grocerey list \"pick up more love\"
There is an excellent book on the subject of coffee. \"Uncommon Grounds\" by Mark Pendergrast
You may have to drink a few of those \"Cuban shots\" to get through it.
It's always a joy to call on companies in Miami with Cuban immigrants. They always offer you a shot of the Cuban stuff. After one shot of that in your blood, there is no problem driving home on a Friday night in heavy Miami traffic after a full week on the road.
Dan, If I've had a good week and think I am going to close a sale soon on a beautiful new Thermwood CNC, then I take the turnpike and spend the $12.00 or so in tolls. If I've had a Cuban Coffee and don't take care how long it takes to get home and just like to sit back in slow moving traffic and listen to Boneyard on XM or maybe sometimes a more gentle jazz station - then I take 95 up to 60 and then Yehaw junction and home on 60. If the sugar crop is not being harvested and if the road is not loaded with tractor trailers hauling sugar cane - then I take highway 27 for some nice scenery up through all the little Okeechobee little known towns. I never take Tamiami trail unless I have more stops over in the Naples area. By the way I will be passing your house twice next week. Was in Clearwater today and will be in Atlanta tomorrow. Hey Dan,
If you are related to the guy from Rocky Face GA that just won half the 390 million yesterday you can start buying better coffee.
For all of us.
