is there any way to import dwg files into the line drawing editor?

No. However, since these are AutoCad files you are talking about, you can save/export them as DXF files....which can be loaded into the Line Drawing Editor. Got a way to convert them?

Click (save as)in Autocad, and at the bottom it gives you the choice of type of file to save as.HTH
