Graphic card

Post by Claudio Bianco »

I am looking at buying a particular laptop that has a (512MB NVIDIA® Quadro NVS 120M TurboCache) card. Can someone tell me if this card is comparible with the recommended FX series in quality and speed. Also, is this card tweakable?

Hi Claudio,

no, the quadro NVS is not a good chip; it's an Integrated chip, kinda like the Intel Integrated chipset. it uses system memory. If you can find the
same chip but not integrated, you will be better off.

thanks,

I have a new HP laptop with a NVidia GForce Go 7600. Any ideas on whether this is going to cause any issues?

I also have an AMD Turion 64 X2 Mobile processor with 2gig of ram and a 200 gig HD

Are there any settings that should be adjusted?

Hi Denny,

That chip should be good. There are no known adjustments to improve performance, but there are adjustments to improve quality (at the cost of performance).
