DXF import and instersecting edges....

Post by Roger Erismann »

I uploaded a DXF into the p-editor and I get the message\"unable to(you name the operation) the part has inersecting edges\"

Is there a fix at my machine or does this need to go back to CAD and be redrawn?

Roger,
Yes.... Try taking the geometry back into the cad software and make sure you have your geometry closed. Zoom in on the intersections of your geometry, and make sure the entities do not overlap. Trim, and extend accordingly.
