rear slide support hole pattern question

Post by Ray Jorgensen »

I'm confused about how to do the hole pattern for rear slide supports. I've tried a couple of different ways and can't seem to get it. I associate the pattern to the rear bracket and the bracket is added to the cabinet so I asume it's in how I'm doing the holes in the hole manager.

Thanks

Hi Ray

I'm Pretty sure you would have to do the holes your looking for in the part editor. At this time the hole editor does not support holes to the front or back of the cabinet. This would be a nice added feature especially for anyone that wants to drill holes in the back of slab drawer fronts for metabox or tandem box brackets on the Thermwood router.

I think from your description that you should be able to associate the holes for the slide mounting bracket and have them show up in the back of your cabinet.

What slide and mounting bracket are you using? And, what hole pattern have you associated to the mounting bracket?

Has anyone worked out a cheat for placing holes in the back of slab drawer fronts yet?
