New software won't load

Post by Rob Carr »

Hi Folks,
Just got the new software disc in the mail today and am excited about using it. When I try to install, I get a message that the disc requires 256 meg of ram. That is what I have. The computer is only a few years old and I still have 72% free memory.
I double-checked and I do have 256 ram.
Anyone got any clues as what the cause might be?
Thanks.

I am running with 2G of RAM and I have seen the software use 1.5G of that on occasion. I would think you might want to upgrade your memory to at least 1G. Even if you could get eCabs to load, with 256M of RAM it's going to crawl.

Thanks for the speedy response. I guess I'm staying with TurboCad for a while longer....

Rob

The software requires 256 Free Memory, just turning on the computer its self will use up some of that memory.

Any questions feel free to call me at 1-800-533-6901 ext. 227

Thank You
