Associate to cabinet misbehaving

Post by Paul Ellis »

I am trying to associate the 'shelves' which are display panels to one of the cabinets, but as soon as I do that they jump into the position that you can see in the first picture.

Hey Paul, try associating them first and then move them into position after.

Rick,
Thank you I did that and it is fine now. I think I know what went wrong...
When I first positioned the shelves, I had to rotate them into position and also the sides of the rack are actually two cabinets that you are facing from the one side. As soon as the display panels are associated to either one the X, Y and Z positions as well as the rotation are now relative to the cabinet and not on its own position in space. Hope this makes sense! :?

Thank you George. Coming from you I take it as a BIG compliment!
What I like about it is the fact that it may be expanded or shrunk to fit your
requirements
