setting defaults for doors and drawer frts

Post by Robert Armstrong »

is there a place i can set my defaults for door and drawer frt gaps? in the pop up that appears it says ... to use the default settings press Shift and click the button ... where are these defaults set .. i use the same defaults for pretty much all my cabinets .. do I have to do this on a per cabinet basis or am i missing something once again? Thanks in advance for any advice. Bob

Robert,
It is on a per cabinet basis but if you set these defaults on your basic \"Seed\" Cabinet that you build all of your other cabinets from, the settings will carry over.
You set them by opening a cabinet in the Cabinet/Assembly Editor and going to Construction Settings and selecting the Add door/Drawer Settings tab. Here you set your defaults for adding doors and drawer fronts.

This is how I learned it this week in the eCabinet Systems course :D . Sure hope I remembered correctly, otherwise I may flunk yet  .

At the Door/Drawer Editor, right-click and select Construction settings. The dialog box shown below pops up.
