This happens all the time since I upgraded from 5.0 to 5.1.2. Now I have upgraded to 5.1.3 and it is still happening. I have a bottom rail with a parts editor cut in it. It is my standard FF. It flips these over when I save them and I can't figure out how to flip them back. If someone can do it can you please explain to me the steps on how? Thanks.
OK, for the Thermwood team. I got it to do it on a consistent basis. If you take the cabinet and open it in the cabinet editor and then you add an assembly it will flip the bottom rail over.
The cabinet is 'cabinet w-wine rack - Maple.hsf'. Take this cabinet and open it in the cab editor. Then open the menu and add an assy. When it applies the constraint manager limitations it will flip the bottom rail over, resulting in the file '30 inch pantry cabinet w-wine rack - Maple.hsf' (minus the wine rack) with the upside down bottom rail. I hope this works for you as it is a very annoying problem. But now that I see what is causing it I might be able to avoid it. If you open the assembly first and then add the cabinet it will not happen. Just the other way around. Happy de-bugging.
I opened your cabinet first, THEN added an assembly created during the eCabinet Systems seminar last week. Then I saved the whole thing as an ***assembly***, and it seems to have worked.
BUT - the crown molding is now gone!

Which file Rick, or both. It tool me a while to get the right files onto the site, I had to redo it a few times before I got the right ones up there. But that shouldn't really matter.
OK, here are some specific cabinets and assemblies to make the problem happen. The 'wine grid' and the 'cabinet w-wine rack' cabinet. Open the 'cabinet w-wine rack.hsf' in the cabinet editor then open the assembly 'wine grid.esa' in the editor next and this should have the effect of flipping the bottom rail over.
The rails change (flip) when I change materials for a few cabinets at a time in the room. It started back after this new build.
What's even stranger is when I select all the cabinets and change the materials, 1. face frames flip, and sometimes 2. a few cabinets just plain out right disapear.
The seed cabinet was originally built in v5.0 but I am on the current v5.1.3. It doesn't flip when I use the v5,0 which I have saved because it seems to work faster in most respects, especially with drawers. I would redo the cabinets but for the life of me I can't redo the toekick I made, The newer versions just won't let me do it the way I did it in v5.0 for some reason.
