I just purchased a new computer. It is a Dell Precision 390 with:
Windows XP
Intel Core 2 CPU 6300 @1.86GHz
2 GB of RAM
nVidia, Quadro FX 4600, 768 MB
I transfered over my files from my previous computer so I could pick up where I left off. In the beginning, it was working well, until I got to the presentation view. The design wouldn't fully render to be able to create a JPG. So I saved it and shut down for the day.
The next time I loaded the program, that design was missing most all the cabinets. I noticed a cabinet needed changing so in the detail layout I highlighted the cabinet, right-clicked, adjust cabinet. In the Shelf/Partition Editor, I adjusted what was necessary, then going back to the main screen the program crashed. I went back into the program, and it did the same thing again. I repeated this once more, and an out of memory message came.
So I unistalled the program and reistalled it, and now I can't do much of anything. It keeps on crashing. I NEED HELP!!!
Here’s a workaround
1.) take your cabinet from the room to the cabinet editor
2.) go to the stretcher editor
3.) delete the stretcher
4.) go back to the main and save the cabinet
This should fix your cabinet; it was the stretcher causing the crash.
