Locking drawer front height

Post by Michael Yeargain »

Am I loosing my mind?

I remember back when (I thought) we were able to lock the drawer height for the cabinets. I have a hard time going through the cabinets after I placed them in the room, and a customer wants to increase all their vanities to 36\" I had one customer who wanted 38\" countertop height in the kitchen after the layout was done. This insrease in height has been called the \"mature height\"..

What happened to the majic button?

If I was on Mars during the removal of this can I make a motion to get it back?

The only way you can do this is by using the minimum height increment in construction settings in the door/drawer editor.

Walker,

I believe you have misunderstood the comment. Micheal is refering to the drawer front. Most every shop keeps there top drawer the same hieght from desk to raise bar cabs. If the doors and drawers recognized stretchers like they do faceframes this wouldn't be an issue. We also need to be able to lock fixed shelves.

Always looking foward,
Forrest

Currently there is no way to lock a drawer front size. This ability and the two others that Forrest suggested will be added to the wish list.

Thanks

This will help more than anything I can ever suggest. Unless you guys feel a need to give a router away :o
