Can't load display objects???
I installed the build 3 and now I can't load any of the display objects. Is anybody else having this problem?

I was working in the display room. I was trying to load a microwave oven.
I also had a problem with my counter tops. I have three sets of cabinets around the room. Sink base, work area next to refridgerator and one next to the stove. I gave up on trying to load the microwave and decided to render a final image without one. When I got to the to the finish room (before final render) I noticed the cabinet next to the stove was out of place slightly. I went back to fix it. I chose select all base cabinets, then modify countertop. it took me to the countertop area of the program. The problem is they showed up as 3 tiny specks down in the corner of the screen. I again said the heck with it, went back to display room only to find out that all of my countertops had turned white. I then tried to select just one set of cabinets to work on instead of all 3. When I got to the editing room (countertop modify) it said it couldn't find the base. When I went back to the display room I couldn't even unselect the thing. I had to move it out to select that one set of cabinets and was now stuck with a countertop that, not only couldn't i do anything with, I couldn't get it to delete or fix.
I removed the program and was just getting ready to install it again, but I have dialup and it takes forever to download a new version. I moved the job file into \"My Pictures\" area so i didn't loose all of my work.

This is the job I'm working on, as you can see it's not a big file.
When I uninstalled the program after some problems with the build 2 series I found that jobs I had deleted from my files were still showing up under file as open jobs. Can't get those to go away either. I went in and delelted the backup folder before uninstalling so I don't know why they still show up when I reinstall the program again.

Follow these steps and your room should be good as new.
1.) load oak.esj
2.) go to detail room
3.) press the minus key until you see two specks near the top right of your screen ( a toilet, microwave and a cabinet. the cabinet is farther away than the others)
4.) delete them all
5.) press the home key then go to the countertop editor
6.) select a counter top then press edit countertop
7.) press ok (do this to get your countertop bodies back
8.) do this to every countertop then press done
9.) select a countertop and take it to the part editor
10.) press ok (do this because of an existing bug that causes ecabinets to freeze on a save)
11.) hide the countertops in detail room
12.) select a cabinet and take it to the cabinet editor
13.) then select remove part editor cuts – from entire cabinet from the mouse tier
14.) press return to room and apply changes
15.) do this to every cabinet
16.) after you do all that save the job as something
Your job should be fixed now if not let me know.
Thanks

Ok now nothing works. When I try to open the file I get a box that says \"unable to open eCabinets file data\", when I close that, up pops another box that says \"error after opening the JOB file\".
When I try to close down the progran I get a another box that says \"Too few parameters. Expected 1.\"
Does this mean I have to uninstall the whole program and reinstall it???? I hate to have to lay out this thing all over again, I was just getting started with it.

Walker helped me work the problem out. Only problem now is before I can get the thing saved once fixed, the damn thing runs out of virtual memory. This is the only graphics program I have this problem with and I can't understand why. I guess I need to check into getting a lot more RAM.
I'm not sure where to start, can't afford a new \"puter\"
. I have a 128MB graphics card, 512 SDRAM and a 40GB harddrive. Do I need a bigger harddrive? What do the rest of you run on????
