Birds Eye and 2D layout
Can anyone tell me if there is a way to get a birds eye layout view and a front layout 2D view after designing my kitchens in the layout section? Including individual cabinet numbers? Thanks

Welcome to the Forum, Eddie!
This is how you do it:
The Easy way:
1. From the Design Layout pull down the Reports menu
2. Select Drawings | Go to Line Drawing Editor
Bingo! You are there!
Another way:
From the Layout Room:
1. Pull Down the Reports menu
2. Select Drawings
3. Select the radio button \"Take Custom Layout\" - this gives you a bird's eye, top view of all items in the room
4. Select all cabinets for which you need numbers - best and quickest way is to click on the left mouse button, drag, and enclose all cabs within the square you generate when you drag the mouse. Release the left mouse button. All cabinets should now be selected.
4. Right-click anywhere on the screen, to bring up a menu
5. Select \"Insert Cabinet Numbers\"
Good luck!

Eddie Lange,
In addition to Al's instructions, once you take the custom layout into the LDE (line drawing editor) you can click on the wall icon at the top of the editor, and individualy select each wall, once the wall is selected it will turn green, you can use the standard windows copy and paste commands, copy each wall and paste them into new pages of the LDE.
Selecting any item in that wall or custom layout will allow you to rotate that wall, cabinet or item, using the shift key and the left mouse button. Rotation is not allowed after dimensions are added to the object.

Thanks, Mike!
I had already forgotten about the Copy and Paste stuff.
One more thing, which will be quite helpful once you get a better feel for the program: Once in the Line Drawing Editor (LDE for short), press the F1 key. This will bring up the Help Section called Area Overview – Line Drawing Editor - Main Page.
I suggest that this is good reading, to get a better feel for the things you can do with the layout once you get to this point. If you have a copy of the Manual, the LDE section starts on page 248.
Enjoy!
