To the computer Gurus... Off subject a little

Post by Rob Davis »

Anybody have experience with a file called Wild Tangent causing problems with programs using security hasps? I ran across this explanation and they told me to evaluate if Wild Tangent has anything I need in it and if not, delete the whole thing. I've read lots on the Internet about its troublemaking ability but I don't don't believe all I read out there either. HP installed it on my system (or at least it was on my system when I got it) but shoud I delete it? Is there any reason to keep it on the system? Is this any piece of the puzzle people are having with eCabs?

Wild Tangent is a gaming resource. You probably don't need it. I just checked out there web site and for me it's something that I wouldn't have in my system. JMHO

my old HP system always gave me hassles over Wild Tangent as well. don't think i ever needed it for anything... and i am pretty sure i got rid of it without causing any problems.
i also learned how much i hate HP PCs... they might be great for printers and maybe laptops, but their hybrid windows systems and all that just get annoying. but that's just my opinion 8)
