Although I received the very first mailing of e-cabinets,I've just been learning version 5 for the past couple of months.
My problem: In line editor I can place dimensions on a single cabinet just
fine, but if I am placing dimensions on an assembly, the dimension arrows
are super sized..the numbers are the correct size and the setting for arrow size has not changed, just the arrow sizes themselves.
I can copy a single cabinet from an assembly onto the same page as the assembly and the arrows will be the correct size. Am I making sense? Has anyone else had the same problem? I feel uneasy sending funny looking drawings to the architects we work for.
But there is a setting in the upper right hand side of the line drawing editor (LDE). It is a BLUE outline box with the letters PRM inside it. Click on that icon and a dialog will pop up. Note the size for the over run and length try 1/16\" in the width try 1/32\" and the gap try 3/16\". This should work for you both.
The size in the Parameter box doesn't seem to relate smoothly to the the size of the arrow. I sometimes have had to input very small numbers to get a reasonable size arrow. Also it seems that the arrow size changes without respect to the value in PRM. For example in one drawing a number like width = 3/16 is fine but in another drawing the same value produces huge arrows.
