Great Program!!!

Post by JohnLashuay »

As I was adding my latest problem, it occured to me that the vast majority of posts are problem oriented. I know that this is what this forum is designed to help with, yet I know it must get frustrating to the programers to hear mostly negative things.

Having said that, I wanted to let you all know that this program has been a great asset to my company. It is enjoyable to work with it. And I appreciate everyone working together to make this program even better.

So thanks for the hard work that you all put in to this. Know that we all appreciate it.

Thanks!!
John

I agree with you too.

I mean, every program has it's bugs and to be good at it one has to learn how to work around them!!!

This thread needed to be posted. The program has produced successful sales for me pretty much every time I design a project on it and present the rendering to the customer. It is hard to put a value on that, but you can bet it is very high.
In general, I find all programs choke at some time or other and I have uncovered many bugs in other programs (not to mention Microsoft!). This is an ongoing thing...... If building cabs was easy, the buyers wouldn't need us (when was the last time you installed a \"perfect\" job without some dent or fitting error being present?).
If writing the cab program was easy, we wouldn't need programmers.

Bottom line is, we all need each other, and while I will report any bugs I find, there won't be much complaining from me.

Many thanks to the T'Wood team for a great program. Keep up the good work!

Thank you John for starting this! I always say to my customers (and anyone else interested (or not!)) that something is worth what you pay for it!
I know someone is going to think.HA! you got this program for free, so you say its worth nothing!
On the contrary...each and everyone using the program, whether they take part in the forum or not has paid quite a lot for it - not in money terms, but in time spent learning, using and contributing to the expansion of the program and helping others in ways you don't always know about.
Therefore....for me it is worth more than I can ever repay.
THANK YOU ALL!!!
