Using Turned Columns

Post by TimHovde »

Hi:

I have some questions that are not specifically about the software, however I am hoping to get some help, or else a suggestion on where else would be a good venue to ask.

I am currently producing a set of cabinets for a kitchen where the homeowner is looking for more architectural features. My quick question is, \"Where are you guys purchasing the columns, corbels, etc. that you are installing on your cabinets?\" There seem to be a number of manufacturers, which companies have you found to have great quality, good prices, easy access, etc.?

The other question that I have dealing with design. There seems to be two main sizes of columns, one around 3 1/2\" to 3 3/4\" and another around 4 1/2\". Which size do you typically use, or what criterion would you recommend for choosing between the two?

Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Tim,

If you can't find what you're looking for in the eCabinet Systems Member Store, try Outwater.
