Parts wont move

In cabinet editor, when I hilight a part and hold down shift, it does not move with the arrow keys or any other way. this is also the problem in line drawing editor. The whole drawing moves. Can some one help please?

Is this a display part that you have added to the cabinet? You can't move cabinet parts, just display parts (panels, boards, cubes) that have not been associated to the cabinet. If it is a display part and has been associated to the cabinet, unassociate it then try moving it.

In the cabinet editor, use shift-left mouse button to move the parts.

In line drawing editor there are buttons to move a cabinet or a cabinet part or wall or room. But what ever button I use, everything moves. Thanks Dan for your fast reply.

If you take the entire room layout into the LDE, you can only move the whole room as far as I know. You can copy single cabinets to new LDE pages and manipulate them individually.
