Frameless Base corner - blind dado problem

Post by Paul Ford »

Hi guys,
Just wondering if anyone has seen this issue with base corner cabinets with angled backs.
If you open the attached cabinet you will see the blind dado in the right side of the deck is set at 100% thickness. The Mortise in the right end shows 100% but the Tenon in the deck only shows 50%
Also on the left side of the deck, the KD/RTA fastener shows the front hole coming out past the front of the left end.
Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this?
Thanks for any help...
Paul.

Hi all,
I removed the part editor cuts from this cabinet, rebuilt the cabinet then re applied the part editor cuts and all seems well.

THAT is good to know, Paul!

I tried everything I could think of, and the dado was still wrong. I was unable to get past that particular issue. I MUST remember this trick, though.

Is this a bug??? I was not able to find anything about this when I did a search  .

Hi Al,
Thanks for helping look in to it. It still seems to have the issue with the KD/RTA pattern but that's not a big concern for me for this cabinet.
I imagine it would be one of those gremlins and this will probably never happen again.... I hope!!
Thanks again for your help.
Paul.
