One thing I would really like to see added to the constraint manager is the ability to use variables in dimensions. In other words, I would like to be able to set one dimension to equal Dim \"A\" and be able to set another dimension to that same dimension so that they are alway the same, and to be able to use them in an equation, so that I could have a dimension set to equal Dim \"A\" + a value or another variable
This would be very useful for placing rows of holes where you want the outside rows always the same distance from the edge, but interior rows to move in relation to those other rows, depending on the size of the cabinet... did that make sense? We use dowel-construction, so I have to add rows of holes where the shelfs and other parts join the gables. right now I have to change each unit individually, doing the math myself, to get the holes in the proper spots. Dimension variables would take care of this problem quite nicely.
