DYNAMIC COST DISPLAY

HAS THE DYNAMIC COST/PRICE DISPLAY AT THE BOTTOM OF THE SCREEN BEEN COMPLETELY ELIMINATED? I CAN'T GET IT TO TURN ON BY ANY OF THE METHODS DESCRIBED IN THE MANUALS. THIS WAS A VERY HANDY FEATURE FOR TRACKING COSTS/PRICES DURING DESIGN OF A CABINET OR LAYOUT. AND ALLOWED YOU TO DYNAMICALLY ADUST DESIGNS WHILE WORKING TO KEEP A PROJECT WITHIN A RESTRICTIVE PRICE RANGE, WHERE NECESSARY, WITHOUT BACKING UP A LONG WAY.

Hi Casey,

It's still there, just in a different place. Click on the $ button (between the buy list button and the cutlist button) at the top of the screen. There you can select the different costing displays.

I'm assuming the reason for changing it to this new way is so the software doesn't update the cost and materials list evey time you do something, which can save tons of time. Now it only updates when you ask to see the cost via this method. I like it!
