Bruce,

1. Are you trying to install from CD, or from a location on the hard disk drive?

2. The Build 4 installation should not give this message, as far as I know. Did you download via dialup, or via DSL or higher? Something funny has happened, I think, unless you are using Vista, in which case I have NO idea.

3. Have you tried to download and install again?

4. Are you using WinXP or Vista?

Need a little more info to help you troubleshoot this issue. Please let us know.

Bruce,
Were you able to update to build 4, and if so, how? I also have a Dell with XP Pro (running build 3), and have never had the slightest problem updating until now. I'm getting the same message you had, that everything will be removed.

Thanks, Gail

The problem Justin said was that build 4 was partially installed and now wants to remove the partial install before it can install it. So just follow the instructions and remove what it wants to and then when you download the update instead of hitting run, save it first . Then install from the saved file. It actually was very simple.

Hope this helps Bruce
