Mdf Doors,Sticking patern

Post by Joe Murphy »

Can you design mdf doors that are routed out with a sticking patern?

The thermwood doors look like a traditional frame and panel style.

I want to create a flat panel look with a thumbnail bead sticking pattern.

Joe,

I think you could make a tool like the one I used on the outside. Just use it for the inside. You may still have to use a 1/4\" panel behind the beaded frame. I tried to create a tool for a flat shaker panel but there were errors.
I can post the .tol if you want.
