DXF not nesting correctly

DXF not nesting correctly
Roger made a .dxf file for the whole sheet and this is what we get. We tried to change some settings in autoCAD and in CN, but it does not help.
What is realy puzzling is that some sheets work, and some do not.

I recently spoke with Jason on the phone. I believe this is the same issue he was describing. As I told Jason, when setting up a dxf file, there can only be one layer defined as the outline layer per dxf file and it can be only one closed chained object (defined in user manual). The outline layer defines object perimeter and thickness for control nesting to nest. If a particular assembly contains multiple parts, you will have to create multiple dxf files per part. You can then load all dxf files at once for nesting to get best sheet yeild.
If you attach your dxf file, I can take a look at it to make sure that the issue your seeing is due to the fact that there are multiple objects listed as outline, in one dxf file.

I see, but as i said above, it cut fine.
The nest looks like it cannot be cut, but once Roger and I got the g-code it looked just like it eas done trough eCabs.
What hapens is:
The cabinets are created in MV
They get nested in MV
The sheets of the nest are opened in AutoCAD
All the lines are closed that were not, and layers applied
It's saved as .dxf
.dxf is opened in CN (ONLY ONE PART IS SHOWN!!!)
G-code is writen
parts are cut succesfully per sheet DXF
So Roger's and my conclusion is that multiple parts on a sheet are possible!
One of the files we cut a few minutes ago is attached
try run it through CN and see what happens
If you have any questions about this just ask!

We frequently manually nest sheets using DXF files by drawing the sheet perimeter on the outline layer, and the part perimeters on a chain compout layer. Your outline tool will need to be set-up for rout/dado operations. You can supress the \"outline\" cut on the CN settings page.
\"nest to edge of sheet\" along with a little lie about the sheet size when loading the DXF will come in handy too.

David's method using the comp layer to do multiple nested parts within an outline, is the preferred method, as we've setup control nesting to do.
The file setup that is being nested by Nemanja is not recommended due to the fact that the nesting of other parts will likely cause a problem. This particular case is apparently a loop hole which allowed the design to go through to the cnc fine, but there will be no consistancy nor can we support this method.

We got it using \"chaincompout\" looks like things are gonna work out.....for now
please don't assume we were coming up with some new \"method\" we were just pointing out that it works either way....furthermore when given adequate detailed instructions we are more than happy to learn something new....
