When we have a unit which requires adjustable shelves the spacing of the holes we would like should be something like the circled holes at the top of the pitcutre attached. No matter how many shelves are added.
In eCabinets when we add the second shelf the holes start to overlap (like in the lower circled pair of holes on the attached picture), so the spacing is not what we require.
What we want is to be able to say we want holes to start x mm down from the top of the side panel and a spacing of y mm, and stop z mm from the bottom, regardless of the number of shelves. This way the fitter can move the shelves around where the customer wants during fitting, and the customer could move them around later.
So what I'm just wondering is if anyone else does it this way, and if the program would benefit from the option to make the side panels adjustable (rather than saying that the shelf is), and then being able to set the point at which the holes start, the spacing and, the height from the top they finish?
(I know you could make it with the holes in the Part Editor, but this will get time consuming if you have to alter it for every different height of cabinet)

What you do is set the number of holes you want above and below the first shelf and add it. Then you can go back into construction settings and uncheck the \"Apply Shelf Holes\" checkbox and add the remaining shelves.
If you already have the shelves and extra holes added to the cabinet, you can (in the shelf editor) select the shelves that you wish to remove the holes and go into construction settings and turn off the \"Apply Shelf Holes\" option.

Thanks for your help, however I do realise there are ways you can do it for each individual cabinet; however most of our cabinets come in different heights. This means that someone will have to remember each time to check that the adjustable shelf holes don't go too high or too low down the side panels (-otherwise it would lead to: unnecessary machining time and it wont look too good to have unuseable holes).
I just figured the feature I suggested might make the whole process of creating a job simpler, give the user less to remember, and make it easier for a new staff member to get on with inputting jobs into the software.
Just wondering if anyone else had thought that might be a good addition?
