Can I change sheet stock for an entire library?

I had created an entire library of cabinets with version 5.x using 5/8\" prefin maple sheet stock due to an outsourcer I had been using. I now have a new shop and no longer use the outsourcer. YEA! When I went to use my old 3/4\" prefin Birch library (birch ply is cheaper!), I sadly realized that the old library made with version4.0 did not have the proper stuff (strechers, drawers,etc.). I really want to convert the 5/8\" to 3/4\" all at once instead of one cabinet at a time (over 150 cabs). HELP!!!!!

I just tried to change the material thickness, it wouldn't let me.
I tried changing the name and thickness, it made me create new material.
I can't seem to \"trick\" the program even.

Will I have to change the cabs one at a time.

I'm afraid you will have to do it the hard way--one at a time. Even then, lots of folks have been reporting problems when changing material thickness so you might want to save each cabinet with a new name when you change the material.

Look through the forum for other threads on problems with changing material thicknesses.

This is a well kept secret...You can take many cabinets into the editor at one time and change them. You can do a mass save into a new directory. When you do a save select all the cabinets in the \"save dialog\" Use \"ctrl\" and type in a new directory and hit save. This will save all the selected cabinets.

This is not going to save them as an assembly. It saves them individually.

Sorry there is no quicker way.

Correct, but you still have to change materials on each cabinet individually as Construction Settings apply only to the selected cabinet when multiple cabinets are open in the editor.
