I finally acquired a sheet of Baltic Birch 12mm ply so I could run another batch of Dovetail drawers, problem was this sheet had the grain cross grained. The parts would automatically cut with the length of the sheet if I checked \"grain\"in the sheetstock set up in eCabs so I switched the width with the length to get the grain to run in the actual direction and it nested correctly in eCabs and in RN but the sheet will only orient along he Y axis so it hangs off the side of the table. I could not get the sheet to set up along the X axis so I just cut off the excess and ran the job anyway. Anyone got any ideas on how to get around this problem in the future?
You can use a grained material, then in eCabinets, use the construction settings for the DBX to change the \"Grain direction angle\" to 90 for each part. The grain will appear to be running the wrong direction in eCabs, but since you're using a material with the grain running in the \"wrong\" direction it all works out.
Nick,
Another idea, perhaps much better if it works, with the job loaded in CN, try to \"Add sheet\" and change the added sheet's grain direction to \"Y\"
