Measurement tool in the cabinet editor

Post by Gene Davis »

Can someone PLEASE give me a short tutorial in how to use the measurement tool in the Cab Editor?

I apparently don't know the move and click sequence, and can only get as far as one blue node highlighting.

I am trying to validate edgeband thickness and blind dado geometry.

Very simple

Highlight the part to be measured, select the measurement tool, single left click on the start point and drag your cursor to the measurement point (do not click) just let the blu dot hover over that point and look at the dialogue box. This allows you to take multiple measurements from any single point.

Hope this helps

That did not help.

I want to validate my edgeband thickness, plus my blind dado clearances, and am unable to get either.

Gene,
Nest your cabinet and it will show you the part size less the edge banding and will show you the dado depth and width which will show you the clearances.
