I was looking at Gene Davis picture of the work cabinet.
I have a customer that wants legs showing on there kitchen cabinets.
Is there anything I should know about them I have never done a hole
kitchen like that.I would appreciate any help They will not be back till June so I have a lot of time to play
All our cab jobs are done using leg levelers, and thus our cabs have no toekicks attached. The toeboards clip to the legs.
There is an impressive array of cabinet and furniture legs available from Hafele. You can check out their catalog on line. Ikea probably has legs sold as just parts. Check them out.
Cabinetry on visible legs is a European thing. There, cabs are like your furniture, and you move them when you relocate to new digs, just like your tables and chairs. Wallcabs too.
One thing you will want is floors that are VERY level, and legs that offer at least a little height adjustment, with perhaps a little jackscrew as part of the metal pad foot.
Hi Ben I made them up in another program and turn them into Hsf files.
If you go to customer 3D files I put them in there an made one up for each base cabinet
