Preferred joinery when using 3/4\" cab backs

If you are building frameless and use mel for carcases, what are your settings at sides, decks, and tops, if you are making backs out of the same 3/4\" panel stock as everything else?

We have been doing backs in 1/4\" paperfaced MDF, with a print and finish to match the 3/4\" panel stock. Flush deck, flush sides, 3/4\" back inset, full dado to sides and to deck, flush up to top with a 3/4 x 5 top nailer behind.

Our consideration now is to go to 3/4\" backs, and we wonder what the best details might be for the connections.

Hi Gene,
I use only 3/4 backs for a yr or so now, would not go back. I also make my wall cabinets 13\" deep, with the router and nesting it makes very little difference in the total material cost for a typical kitchen. I will attach a base and wall for your inspection, use what you would like.

We used your susan base pretty much out of the can, and it has been working just fine. Puff, puff! I am out of breath from moving one.
