Greg,

Pull up your standard upper corner framed cabinet or framless, which ever your doing. Go to costruction setting and choose DECK, then change your BOTTOM INSET to 1.25" if your using 2" rails. This will keep your faceframe from hanging down below the side gables. Also if your wanting an angled front corner cab, while your in construction settings, pick the corner settings tab and change from corner to angle.
Go back to the main screen, and on the upper left corner, you'll see "cabinet edit "w/blue arrow. Choose the arrow and you can click the" ? "and you will see diagrams of each option. Choose the different radio buttons to change the diminsions of each part.

On the short side, inset the front to the cabinet depth minus the back thickness and click the "Angle Part" button. For each part (top, deck, shelves, etc), click either "Left Front Follow Side" or "Right Front Follow Side". If you want the part mitered also click the corresponding "Left Front Miter" or "Right Front Miter".

For example if you are using a 3/4" back, set the front inset to 11-1/4" (12 - 3/4") and click the "Angle Part" button. Then set the appropriate parts for the front to follow the side.

You can also use the "Back Follows Side" to have an angled back and straight front cabinet.

In Construction Settings, there is a button near the bottom right of the dialog labled "Angle Part." When you click it another dialog is displayed for you to choose which parts will be angled.

Here is a sample 12x12x41 frameless upper cabinet with the right side set back 11-1/4".

Notice the right side insets on the shelves. This is to make them flush with the side.

Oh, Damon, uh...be careful with that new knowledge--a little education can be as dangerous as none at all :joker:

That's what I was referring to here. If you remove the end, there is no inset for the other parts to follow so they return to their original shape.

If you do not want that 3/4 x 3/4 "end", you can create a sheet material that is say, .001" thick and make the end from it. Just name it "Do Not Cut" or something similar and filter it out of your nest. If you do this, make the front inset equal to the depth of the cabinet minus the thickness of the material.

Here is the same cabinet with the right end made from .001" material and the front inset at 11.999".

Great!!! Sometimes we tend to just look for a more difficult method and overlook the easy one.

Most everything in eCabinets is easy--if you know where to look for it. There are still areas that are confounding to work with but they too will improve with future versions.

OK, Dan

Here's another question. Assuming you wanted adjustable shelves on this corner cabinet. I can get the holes on the left side, but what about the holes that would need to be drilled on the back?
