hardware requirements

I’m going to get a new computer and want to make sure it’s the best to run ecabinet software. I’ve seen some posts but can’t really find a thread on what’s best.
I remember reading something about the program not using dual core or quad? Then there is the matter of windows not using more than 3gb memory in a 32 bit operating system. XP, Vista, 2000 ?

Lots of things to think about.

Does anyone have the requirements?

I asked the same thing, and got a response I believe I can trust. Look for the thread, which I believed was titled "new computer system," on page 3,4, or 5 here. In that thread, you'll also see the Thermwood recommendations.
