quick question please help
How do I add a door panel to the side of a cabinet? Also after reading in help I cant figure out how to add the molding to a whole set of cabinets in a room instead of putting it on one cabinet at a time in cabinet editor. I would also like to adjust the light rail molding back flush to the face of the cabinet but cannot figure out how to do that. Thanks for your time!!!

Re: quick question please help
Alright Jason, we are going to add the door first, ok.
1. Pull up you cabinet that you want to add the door to.
2. hold down Ctrl and hit the "T". The globe in the center of the screen should have just turned green.
3. hold down SHIFT and arrow to the side of the cabinet that you want the door place. The globe should have moved.
4 RT Click
5 Load Items
6 choose DOORS/Drawers option at the bottom
7 Type in the width and height of your door
click the select door button
click the drop down menu and choose conestoga or thermwood (which ever, I choose conestoga)
Click standard
choose your door style you like
click OK
click OK again
8 Now your door should be on the screen with your cabinet.
click ONE time on the door, It should turn green w/hash marks
9 RT Click
choose ROTATE ITEM
Now rotate the door to the correct angle that will line up with the side of the cabinet. 90 or 270deg. on the Y Axis
click ok
10 Click your up arrow to rotate everthing so you are looking at the top of the cabinet and the door.
11 DBL Click the cabinet. It should have a green wire rim around all the cabinet parts and your Door should still be green with hash marks.
12 Now move your mouse over the front or back upper corner (make sure it is on the outer corner) and a blue dot should appear.
Click one time on that corner and the blue dot should stay there.
Now move your mouse over the corner of the door that would line up with the corner of the cabinet. Now you will have a RED Dot. Click one time. Now you have a Blue
Dot on the cabinet and a Red Dot on the door with a red line connecting the two.
13 Go up to the top and click the Align Item icon (blue/red dot w/red line)
choose ALIGN TO ZERO. The door should have just snapped to the cabinet and be lined up.
14 If you need to center the door on the side of the cabinet or move it for some reason. Go to the left side of the screen to MOVE INCR. type in the amount you want to
move the door.
15 DBL CLICK the cabinet one time to take away the green wire frame. The door should still be green.
Hold down the shift key and use your arrows to move the door in the desired direction.
16. Voila, you now have a door on the side of the cabinet.
17. save the cabinet as an assymbly or you door will not be there the next time.
Hope this helped
There is another way to add end panels also.
Build your room and apply the cabinets. Now you can dbl click the cabinet you want to add the end panels to (from the detail room screen) and then RT click, choose adjust cabinet features, then click Cabinet ends. Now you can choose your door style and apply any insets and choose ok. A little faster, but you need to know how to do it both ways.

Re: quick question please help
I am going to try this right now thanks! I am also having trouble putting a sink into a top on a cabinet. Do you really have to cut holes in everything and build around it to work?! I dont see why you cant just lay it on top and it will do it for you. Seems like so much more work than is needed. lining it all up and cutting holes?? WHY CANT YOU JUST DRAG AND DROP??!! Tanksso much for your time so far Damon
