Finished job

This is part 2 of my first post,, also finished today. This corner entertainment cabinet is in the kitchen/dining room. It is made of reclaimed longleaf (heart) pine, heavily distressed,clear finished and glazed with vd brown. The style of the home is southwest hacienda. I used ecabs just to get my proportions right and for my sheet goods count. The tv pictured is a 46, but the cabinet is made for a sony 52 which is coming later. Behind the lower doors are 3 drawers, and 3 component shelves. This cabinet houses the amplifier for the whole house system.

Are those strap hinges on the doors?

Thanks for the comments guys. Mike, they are strap hinges, rusted steel, probably some kind of acid wash. found them at Lee Valley. Joe, I did make the doors. They are all just 5 pc. doors. On the top doors, I cut all the individual pieces 1/2" thick, glued them into a panel, cut to shape, then rabbeted the edges to fit into the rail and stile groove. Same for the bottom. funny thing about this cabinet was that it was originally designed to fit the tv you see. 2 days after I started building, the owner called and said that he decided to upgrade to a 52", this one being 46. I panicked at first, but when I got the specs I saw that the 52 was only 3 1/2" wider so I just had to cut down the left and right stiles of the middle section. I don't think it hurt the look. Also, both middle side panels are actually doors that open to allow access to the backside of the tv.

Nice work Mike! Love your top doors with the crown molding, look a bit Mexican style!
The plan as been upgraded a bit and the results are very good!

Mind if I ask how you angled the sides of the cabinet in your Ecab rendering. I have been trying to figure this out for some time. I am currently bringing in display boards and angling them in place.

Looks like a standard corner cabinet with angled front.

Glenn is right. Load a standard corner cabinet and open construction settings/corner settings/angled front. Once loaded click the blue arrow in the upper corner ot cabinet editor and adjust your dimensions.

I'm back again. I can't seem to figure our how to get the face of the cabinet flat like you are showing. I can only seem to adjust the depth of the angle.
