Hi all,
I'm going to have a local Thermwood shop cut some bamboo plywood panels for me. I read the previous posts on the PlyBoo. For those who have cut this stuff what do you recommend for the speeds, feed rate and number of passes (for 3/4" material). Also, do you need any special cutters for this stuff? The end product will be RTA bamboo furniture, so I will also be drilling holes for the 20mm Rafix RTA hardware plus shelf pins.
I did have some material cut for me a few years back and the guy had the feed rate a bit fast and was doing a single pass on 3/4". He snapped a bit about 5 seconds into the panel.
Thanks!
Joe

Personally, I have never cut the stuff. But here is a link to the woodweb forum where they give a few pointers. Hopefully this helps.
