Scale drawings?

Post by David Bouchette »

Ummmm, In the drawing editor, how can I scale the copies of the cabinet so they are exactly the same size?

After sizing the first copy, select it and copy/paste it using ctrl-c (copy) and ctrl-v (paste).

I did that. But the copy came in at the giant size that my original started out at. I sent a cabinet to the drawing editor, and it came in bigger than the sheet. So I resized it to what looks good. Then I copied it, and pasted it. But the copy came in giant. So, can I scale it, so I can make sure the copies are the same?

So it does...do you have the grid turned on in the Line Drawing Editor? If so you can size your objects to the grid so they are approximately the same printed size.

My workaround for this problem is make all of your copies first (drag them out of the way as you paste them) delete the original, then select all and resize as a group.
