Is it possible to select solid wood for the drawer boxes so that the drawer parts do no show up on my cutlist? I never make drawers out of plywood but for sizing purposes I use the plywood drawers so I can get my buy list. I wish I could get a list of drawer sizes without having half my cut list cluttered up with drawer box parts. Any help would be great.

Drawer boxes can only be made with sheet stock.

Re: Drawers using solid stock and not plywood
Dave,
I created a sheet stock that is 5/8 Maple that is 12" X 120" and select that to build my drawers from. I can use that sheet stock calculation to get my lumber order.
I then filter out all the drawers in the nest so that all those parts don't get printed out.
It would be better if parts for five piece doors were listed by themselves and not thrown in with the face frame stock and if drawers could have their own cut list out of either board or sheet stock and not have them thrown in with the the sheet stock .
Doors and drawers need their own separate cut lists.
If purchased doors and drawers are selected they need to show up as only a list of sizes in their own seperate lists.

I vote for kerry's idea,it make sthe most sense for small shops that do a lot of doors and drawers in house.
I often have the problem of having to wait too long to get my doors and drawers.
