Add returns to stiles

Post by David Bouchette »

I have a slip in cabinet where the unfinished ends are set flush with the inside of my face frame. I want to add virtually another stile on both sides of my cabinet that's only 3/4" X 3/4" X the height of my cabinet. These will be flush with the outside of my face frame creating a return to the wall... make sense so far? How do I do that?? :(

If I'm following you correctly, all you need to do is add a display board (or panel if you face frames are sheet stock) of the needed size. Once you have it in the Cabinet Editor, move it into the desired location and associate it the the cabinet.

If you don't associate it to the cabinet, it will be lost when you close the cabinet file.

You can also develop a cabinet with the faceframe at 3/4x3/4, delete all the parts except the stiles and align it to your cabinet.
