What would be the process of converting a .x_t file and getting it into eCab? .x_t is a parasolid file format.
Thanks

Re: Convert .x_t files format
X_T files are only used for Shape Manager tools in eCabinets. If you have a tool that is in X_T format, copy it to your tools folder (usually a folder underneath My Profile Tools).

What are they made with? Can the program they are made with create a DXF file?

Re: Convert .x_t files format
They were created in UGS Solid Edge, and the assemblies can only be exported in the following formats: .UG, .IGES, .STEP, .XGL, .XML, .CATIA, Prodcutvision Document, and Parasolid Document

I don't know whether you can convert any of those file types with AccuTrans3D or not. You can download a trialo version and try it. Go to http://www.micromouse.ca to download.

Hi Robert
Could you put the .x_t format into a (.STEP format) and I will try to open it for e-Cabinet
do you have TurboCad. You could convert it in there

Re: Convert .x_t files format
Robert,
I was able to import IGES Files (.igs) into Alibre Express (which is free) and export the model in stereo lithography (.stl) format that you can then open and edit in the eCabinets Display Parts Editor. Alibre Express will also import Rhino files (.3dm). I haven't tried this one.
