Re: PLCSYS.EXE error-PLC has terminated please restart
Dave,
Be sure you back up the files listed below. Although deleting the PLCHIST.thm should not cause any problems, it is always good to do so.
o C:\Rolling Nest\machine. (Control Nesting - SETTINGS)
o C:\Rolling Nest\tools.thm (Control Nesting - TOOLS)
o C:\Rolling Nest\material.mdb (Control Nesting - Material Database)
o C:\system\toolman.thm (THM Tool Manager Settings, F10, F9, F2)
o C:\offset.tab (Fixture offsets for G52L#)
o C:\MACROS (Contains M999, most commonly altered)
o D:\DATA (Contains all CNC files and folders)
Optional:
o C:\system\ cmark.bin
o C:\system\ Thmfmt.bin
o C:\system\ THMMSU.BIN
o C:\ Msufmt \ “Machine number”.MSU
If this error is popping up randomly try deleting the PLCHIST.thm file from the C:\SYSTEM directory. Then reboot the Control.
The PLCSYS.exe is what starts the software. When you click on the THM icon to start up the THM software you are essentially clicking the PLCSYS.exe.
Let us know if this works or not.. Thanks.
