Line drawing editor measuring?

I have created a cabinet using some new material that I have created, material is white melamine of 5/8.
I have the cabinet in the editor and I take it to line drawing editor, in there I put the mouse over the corner of the cab and the blue square appears, I clic and move to the next corner and clic again, move the mouse to place the measument.
What I can't understand is the cab is 30 wide, the sides are 3/4 and the shelf, top and bottom are 28 15/32, can some one explain this?
Also in this view theres a square that is smaller them the cab, hight of the cab is 92 1/2, that white square most probably is a wall, but on settings I believe the wall size is 96 if I'm at the right place, the thing is can't see the cab very well as cab is almost as big as the screen. How do I fix this please?

Hi Castro

I think the first thing you must do is get the item sized properly on the screen. You do this by holding down shift and both left & right mouse buttons, you will then be able to zoom in and out by moving the mouse back and forth.

Thank you it worked, like I said still learning and I can see that are good teachers in here.
I was able to resize and now I see well the cab, just wondering what is the square line?

I'm sorry I have been out of here for a wile and trying to pick up where I left behind, started working with this sofware again, wow, big improvement, nice.
I have the same problem as before, nothing major but curious, about that line again, sorry can't find a way to atach the file.
It does look like a page outline, this is what I started to do to learn, I started to create cabinets, them I imported to drawings and using diferent view displaying the measurements, when in drawings I have a rectangule (sorry not square) ouline, any to increase or take it out?

Well, I thnk I got it to work, I reduce the size of the cabinet to fit that page outline, them I increase the size to view in everything.
