Re: frame profile
Will,
Just make sure you use a "display panel" to creating your part. You have to use a display panel to be able to nest and write code on the router.
What part of the proccess are you having trouble with?

Re: frame profile
Will,
Dan is out this week doing training. So I do not have access to the files. If you would please attach the files again and reply. To attach a file, select the "Upload attachment" tab after you select the "reply" button. The "Upload" tab is located below this box when entering your reply message. Just browse for the file, then select "add the file" button to attach.
When are you getting the error?
Is it when you are in the part editor?
is it when you are creating the CNC code?
??????
The only thing you need to do is create the part using the dxf file. Don't worry about applying a tool to the perimeter. The perimeter is already defined when you "Create a part using a close contour".
steps to take:
Open up the cabinet editor.
load up a "display panel".
take the DP into the part editor.
goto the contour mode.
load up the dxf file and position into place. (if needed)
Go "out the door" and exit the contour mode.
right click and select "Create a part using a close contour".
choose the closed contour
select "next" at the bottom of the screen.
you should now have the part you want.
click the cnc button to write the .twd file.
load up in control nesting, nest, and write the code.
