Door Handles

Post by leigh mills »

Hi Guys,

I am just using back panels to create my doors and just wondered if anyone had any good ideas of what would be the best thing to do with the handles. This is because you cant attach handles unless using the creator. Can I get any images of handles form anywhere to use?

Thanks,

Here is what you can do. If you create your door out of a back, you will then need to click on load item then click on Vendor items. You can select pulls now from the different vendors. Once you load the pull in the cabinet editor you can rotate and move it to desired location. Once this is done you shoul ddouble click on the back and click on the pull, right click, associations, associate to cabinet. I hope this helps. If you have any questions feel free to call or email me.

Leigh,
As long as they are .stl files. The "Display Part Editor" will allow you to import .stl files, then save them as .hsf files. You can then load them up in the Cabinet Editor.

Note: When importing any pull, slide, ect..... Ecabinets will not attach the entity to the cabinet. If the cabinet is moved or resized, the pull will not stay attached to the cabinet. You will have to move the pull back into position.

Most of the hardware files (.stl) that you are probably looking for are located in this directory.
C:\Program Files\Thermwood\eCabinet Systems\hardware

Hopefully this help.
