Need Help with furniture design

Hi, I am new to e-cab. I would like to learn how to design easy stand alone furniture. Could someone walk me through drawing a simple table using this software? I find it difficult to adjust an existing cab to make a table? Do I use display boards to make the table? How do I move them to the right place? I would like to make a Shaker style table with four legs(not tapered) with four stretchers and a top. Can anyone help? Rich
