Difficulty with line drawing leader

I am having difficulty using the leader in the line drawing editor. I can insert a leader and type in text but I am unable to edit or move the leader. I hold down the shift key and left click but the only thing that happens is that another leader gets added. I have tried to enlarge the leader and hold down the shift key ane left click but again the only thing that happens is that another leader gets added. The leader icon is depressed when I add a leader as well as when I try to edit the leader. I would appreciate some advise. Thank you in advance.

Marvin,
After you place the leader, click off the leader icon to something like the Set Vertical Dimensioning Icon
(I also like to click on the PRT icon to select parts)
Then mouse over the leader you want to move and it will turn red,
Click to select it
Use the Shift key and right mouse button to move the leader

Marvin, If you have added text to the leader run the cursor over the text till it turns red and then left click.(will now turn text green)Then hold shift and right click to move leader and text or shift and left click to move only the text and the end of the leader (The arrow of the leader will stay where it is but the text and end of the leader will move)
