Staying at motel 6

I thought there would be taxi's and so on but i am wrong on this, so im stuck. So can someone advice me the best thing to do? I am attending a training course tomorrow and am from the UK so Im slightly lost lol. Am I in walking distance?
Thanks,

I wouldn't call it walking distance (I would guess 3-4 miles maybe) but normally there are plenty of people staying at the Motel 6 or across the street that will be in class as well, that might be willing to give you a ride. There is not a lot to do in Dale. You may want to think about renting a car. The neighboring towns like Jasper will have more things to do after class. The trainers usually will give you a map of all the places to eat and places that may be of interest to you. Good luck and have fun. Everyone at Thermwood will be willing to help you out. They are very helpful.

Leigh,
I wouldn't walk that distance. I would also walk across the street to that hotel (is it baymont?) and talk to the person at the front desk about other guests. Also, If you don't hook up with anyone just call the factory first thing in the morning and ask to speak to the trainer in your class and explain situation they will definately have a way for your to get over there.

Along with what Fred has already said. Normally the Monday class starts at 8:00 am. The receptionist will be there at 7:00am. I would ask for Dennis or your trainer and I am sure someone will be able to run down and pick you up. I know the last time I was there, Thermwood had made arrangements for someone in the class to assist if anyone needed a ride from the motel. I wouldn't worry about it, Thermwood will take care of you.

Leigh,
If its hot, just skip the classes and go to holiday world and hang out at the water park, its awsome!!!
I was there almost a 3 weeks total and am lucky enough to be within driving distance, one week I pulled my Harley and rode around the countryside in the evenings, another week I pulled my boat and hit all the local fishing holes. Went to Holiday world a couple of times. Actually it is a very nice area with a lot of things to do pretty close by.It was like a vacation to me other than the minor inconvenience of the classes...
Good Luck,
